These documents were received October 9, 2004, from Sacramento County Department of Transportation. The envelope was postmarked October 8, 2004. Also enclosed was a copy of a recommendation to the Board of Supervisors dated November 25, 1986. There was no cover letter, and other than the return address on the envelope, there was nothing that validated the source of these documents.

These documents were not accompanied with a statement confirming that these are the studies used to justify the installation of the speed control stop signs on Second Street at Shady Woods Way.

After additional queries, a letter was finally received from Mr. R.W. Foust on November 17, 2004, that included a cover letter confirming the authenticity of the count and survey below.
Traffic Count 8/19/04
The traffic count above was taken on 2nd Street, just north of M Street, and the speed survey below was taken on 2nd street 400 feet north of Shady Woods Way, according to email received from Mr. Lupe Rodriguez on November 15, 2004.
